Patio Upgrade: From Decking to Stone Paving

The transformation of this outdoor area has replaced an old, worn timber decking with modern, elegant sandstone paving. The previous deck was weathered and faded, with wooden railings that gave the space a dated appearance. Over time, the timber had begun to deteriorate and rot, with visible signs of ageing and water damage, making the area less appealing and practical for outdoor use.
The recent work has completely overhauled this space by removing the tired decking and replacing it with a beautifully laid stone patio. The new paving stones offer a more durable and stylish finish, enhancing the overall look of the garden. The slabs have been expertly laid, providing a smooth, level surface that is both practical and visually appealing. The transition from timber to stone brings a more modern and clean aesthetic to the space.
In addition, the brickwork beneath the patio has been refreshed, providing a sturdy foundation that complements the sleek new paving. Complementing the grey sandstone, we’ve used blue engineering bricks on this one.
The area is now much easier to maintain and offers a more inviting atmosphere for outdoor relaxation and entertaining. This upgrade has significantly improved both the appearance and functionality of the garden, creating a timeless and low-maintenance feature.
